Our trip to Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming was a great success. The nine fellows who took part were all enthusiastic about the excellent trail network constructed in recent years by a cadre of volunteers working on designs created by IMBA. While some of the trails ran across open prairie or along the lake shore, most offer a challenging variety of twists and turns through ponderosa forests, with lots of granite boulders and slabs to keep the rider constantly alert and ready for instant course corrections. Some in the group also explored the great trails at nearby Pole Mountain, which provided additional fun.
