COLORADO TRAIL: Camp Hale to Copper Mountain
This 15-mile singletrack portion of the Colorado Trail connects Camp Hale to Copper Mountain over Kokomo and Searle Passes.  Common to most Colorado trails, the route can be broken up into the usual 3 parts: a very difficult, sustained climb to the top, a very scenic stretch of fairly level alpine riding, and a very fast, technical descent to the end.  Some bikers claim the going is easier riding from Copper Mountain to Camp Hale.  Those not wanting to ride this entire stretch may find an out-and-back journey from Hale to Kokomo or Copper to Searle well worth the day's riding and eliminates the need for a humongous car shuttle. Park anywhere in Camp Hale Valley.  Singletrack starts off East Fork Eagle Rd.
