Lime Creek Road is a popular route between Thomasville on the Frying Pan River, and Lime Park and Crooked Creek Pass--especially in September when the aspen groves in Lime Park drape the hills with gold.  The most spectacular mountain park in the Roaring Fork watershed, Lime Park is blessed with miles of undulating hills, the aforementioned aspen stands, its own limestone canyon, and a truly panoramic view of the granite peaks of the Sawatch Range--not to mention miles of dark timber around the park and Red Table Mountain behind it.
